This email was forward to me by Al. It's from his daughter's boss who seems to have a little aversion to spiders. I can't help but have a mental picture of "Dave" barricading himself into his officer, taping up all the cracks and securing the flaps of his trousers. I can see him with binoculars keeping an eye on staff members at lunch time and making them go through security check points when they come back into the building.
Irrational fear mixed with irrational control issues.
Another spider was spotted in the office this morning. In the six years we’ve been here we haven’t experienced a problem with spiders. We don’t have spiders breeding or living in the office. There is no food source for them. So, any spiders spotted in the office are being brought in.
It seems that recently more spiders are hitching a ride into the office from unsuspecting employees. I’ll have some spider traps purchased to deal with these uninvited guests. However, since they are coming into the office from outside, I need everyone’s help in dealing with this.
Please be aware of where you spend time on breaks and lunches. Any time spent under the trees outside of the building provides opportunities for a spider to hitch a ride on you when you return to work. Please be aware of this and help prevent unwanted hitch hikers.
Thanks in advance for your help.
This guy is certifiable and creates a hostile work environment of perfectly natural occurrences of a "Spider" in the office, where do these people come from?
